World Health Day of this year Celebrated on 07 April 2021 by 17th batch B.Sc. Nursing students through the Zoom platform at 09.30 am. The function started with a silent prayer followed by a welcome speech by Ms. Mereena Jacob (III BSc). The function was officially inaugurated by Rev Fr Paul Karedan (Director, Lisie Medical and Educational Institutions). The Theme of world health day was released by Rev Fr George Thelekatt (Asst Director, LMEI)The winners of the poster competition based on the WHO theme were announced by Rev Fr Shanu Moonjely ( Asst Director, Lisie Hospital). A documentary prepared by 17th batch students based on various projects by the Central and State government was played. After that, there was a health awareness session by Dr. Abhilash Chacko ( Senior Consultant, General Medicine) which was very informative. Vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Maria George ( III BSC).
