Faculty development programmes

A range of activities that are perceived to help academicians in improving their professionals skills are vital for excelling in their teaching, research or/and administrative activities.

Continuing Nursing Education The continuing Nursing Education Program was started with the aim, to develop knowledge and practice of the faculty. Every month CNE is conducted on the first Thursday.  Every year faculty development program is conducted by external resource person indentified for the same based on the need indentified by the faculty. Faculty are deputed to attend conferences and seminars to outside colleges. They are also motivated to publish articles in journals, present papers and posters at various conferences. CNE programs are organized and conducted in each speciality areas like Medical Surgical Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Community health Nursing, OBG Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing. Faculty can pursue opportunity to complete PhD.

E Learning

Web-based modules are available for the faculty to equip themselves with adequate knowledge in variety of special areas. Journal Club Journal Club Activities are regularly conducted to update faculty knowledge on various topics. Conferences, Workshops & Seminars LCON gives prime importance to participation in conferences, workshops and seminars held both  at national and state level. Faculties are set free to attend national and state level conferences. Our faculties had been resource persons for various state and national level conferences. Most of our faculties had been attending the same based on their convenience and subject of interest.
