The programme started at 11.00 am with prayer. Mr. Krishnakumar (Secretary, Kochi Taluk Library Council) welcomed the gathering. The programme was inaugurated by Mrs. Treesa Manuel (President, Edappally Block Panchayath) and delivered inaugural address. Mrs. Dr Tency Roy,(Medical Officer Incharge) gave an awareness talk regarding AIDS, its mode of transmission and management associated with it. An informative session on AIDS was taken by Mr. V. A Josy (Vice President, Block Panchayath). The programme was followed by flash mob with poster presentation by 3rd year G.N.M students of Lisie School of Nursing and awareness talk was given by Sr. Neethu Joseph.
