The fourth year B.Sc. Nursing students of Lisie College of Nursing Organized a Nutrition Programme in the Community, under the supervision of the faculty, Dr. Bindu John, Associate Professor and Ms. Steffy Chacko, Assistant Professor. The aim of the programme was to develop the capabilities of the students in planning and organizing a community programme after assessing the nutritional status of its members, and prioritizing the needs by mobilization of the community resources for improving their health status. The students prepared a Diabetic and Hypertensive diet as the sample menu.
