The Sports meet of Lisie College of Nursing was conducted on 21/09/2022. Allthe students and guests assembled in the St Augustine School Ground by 07:15am. Yellow. Green , red and blue houses were present represent Ist year, IInd year, IIrd year and IVth year BSc Nursing respectively.The official programme started at 07:30am with the march past.The college sports captain Ms. Aiswarya T S and other respectives houses captains received the flags from the Chief Guest Rev. Fr.GeorgeThelekatt, Asst director, Lisie Medical and Educational Institutions and Prof (Dr) Usha Marath, Principal, Lisie college of Nursing. Followed by a prayer song by Ist year BSc nursing students. Ms . Tinku Jolly, Sports Secretary welcomed the gathering. Sports captain Ms. Aiswarya T S administered the sports pledge to all respected houses. Rev. Fr.GeorgeThelekatt, Asst director, Lisie Medical and Educational Institutions delivered the welcome speech and Prof (Dr) Usha Marath, Principal felicitated the gathering. Ms.Aiswarya Santhosh, IIndyr BSc nursing student proposed vote of thanks. The official function was concluded with National Anthem. Ms. Anna P Antony,PT Teacher, St Augustins high school, Ms. Sherin Thomas, SNA Advisor and Dr. Bindu John Associate Professor, Ms. Jolfy K G, Ms. Mridula E S and Ms, Sophy T S, Assistant professors, Ms. Remya Xavier, Ms.ChinnuUlhannan and Ms. Arathy Lecturers of Lisie college of nursing helped in conducting all the events ( Race – 100m,200m and 4X100 relay, long jump, discuss throw, shotput and javelin throw) . the events were over by 12: 45pm. The prizes were distributed by Rev. Sr. Renjitha CSN, Principal Lisie School of Nursing and Dr. Bindu John Associate Professor, Lisie College of Nursing. The individual champions were awarded by Master Albin Joseph, Istyr BSc and Ms. Anju Xavier, IIIrdyr BSc. The group championshipwas awarded to Yellow house, represented by Istyr BSc Nursing. The programme ended at 01:45pm.
